Our Mission
It is no secret that war, regardless of it's location, it's scale, or it's outcome, is terrible. It is a fact that every war has brought change, to people, to nations, and sometimes to the world. It is a truth that the men and women who have answered the call to serve are heroes like no other. They have dedicated themselves to the cause, to the idea that America is something unique, something special. It is becuase of their bravery, honor, and sacrafice that our country has managed to not just survive, but thrive against all the odds.
Message to Donors
1,000 interviews is a lot of conversations to record. To accurately capture the real stories of these veterans our volunteers need audio and video recorders. Posters and other forms of advertisement to spread the word to veterans. Maintain this website and create an exhibit to display and archive the stories. We can't do it without your help, monetary donations of any size would help us accomplish our mission. Unsure of how much to donate? It takes $25 to archive a veteran's story, sponsor a veteran today and preserve a firsthand account of a crucial time in world history.
