November 10 Interview Event

To mark Veterans day this year, Voices from the Front is hosting an interview event at the Wesley Glen Retirement Community in Worthington!

Veterans-We invite any veteran who hasn't had the chance to share their story to sign up! It is a great oppurtunity to not only tell your own experiences, but to meet other veterans and hear some of theirs. Also, please bring any photos or memorbilla you have from your service that you would like to share, we would love to see it! Click here to Sign Up for an Interview Time

Volunteers-We need volunteers to interview the veterans! Our goal is too interview 50 veterans on that day so we need your help. August 11, 2012 Interview Event

Interviewevent Our next Interview Event is August 11, 2012 at Wesley Ridge Retirement Community in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. We are interviewing a number of veterans from around the community and we would love to see you there!

Wesley Ridge has graciously offered their facility! Veterans from all eras are welcomed and encouraged to attend. If they gave you a uniform we want to see you there!

Violet Festival Parade

To promote our August 11 Interview Event, and our spread word of our mission in general, Voices from the Front will be participating in the Pickerington Violet Festival Parade. We need volunteers to carry our banner and be pass out fliers. Come join us in this awesome way to get others involved!

Field of Heroes May 25 - 28

What an incredible event! The Sunrise Rotary Club of Westerville was amazing in their support for my project! Honor Flight Columbus graciously let us share their tent. I had the support of many volunteers in talking with veterans as they stopped by the Field of Heroes display.

In all we collected 60 new leads for veterans willing to share their stories. Check out some of the pictures fromt the day below.

Voices from the Front is honored to be a part of the Field of Heroes event this Memorial Day weekend in Westerville, Ohio. This event honors not just our military heroes, but heroes from any walk of life. With literally hundreds of 8 foot American Flags posted in the Field, this awesome tribute to those who do more than ever expected, inspires us all to be more, do more, and try more.
